Description:
Under the guidance of the Director of the Systems of Care Institute, the Wraparound Trainer and Coach will develop and deliver Wraparound and System of Care training, coaching, consultation, and technical assistance to a variety of programs, system partners, and agencies across the state of Oregon and in other contracted states. This position will use subject matter expertise, technical assistance strategies, and data to inform, develop and refine curriculum and training materials for the Systems of Care Institute. This position provides consultation and training across a variety of youth-serving systems including mental health, child welfare, and community-based programs. This position supports ongoing innovation of workforce development in response to new projects, best practices, and policy and practice changes. The Wraparound Trainer and Coach will assist a variety of providers in effective utilization of tools and system approaches such as Wraparound, Systems of Care, and meaningful use of quality assurance and fidelity tools. The Wraparound Trainer and Coach has a responsibility to participate in organizational training needs assessments and comprehensive program evaluation. The Wraparound Trainer and Coach will have a primary work site at the Portland State University campus in downtown Portland, Oregon. In and out of state travel is possible and required.
