The National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health and Health Care are intended to advance health equity, improve quality, and help eliminate health and behavioral health care disparities by providing a blueprint for individuals and behavioral health organizations to address the needs of diverse populations. This peer learning call will focus on the implementation of the National CLAS Standards. The Cultural and Linguistic Competency Technical Assistance team will discuss specific CLAS implementation strategies, a community example and resources that may be used in operationalizing National Standards for CLAS.
