Description:

The Project Director will serve as the primary liaison between the project management team and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Mental Health Services (SAMHSA) project office. Responsible for coordinating all planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting requirements of the SAMHSA System of Care Expansion Planning Grant. The Project Director will work with families, youth and system leaders on both a state and local community level to facilitate the system of care implementation process working across and within state systems, to promote the implementation and infrastructure development of the system of care. The Project Director will work with system leadership to develop and monitor necessary contractual relationships providing strategic planning, social marketing, cultural competency, consultations, training and technical assistance supports. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in social or human services, including sociology, psychology or counseling. Also, at least four years of experience in community mental health with at least three of those years in a child serving system. Requires ability to travel.
