New Summary of Research on Wraparound

The Wraparound research base has grown substantially over the past two decades. Not surprisingly, the main question asked of research has been “Does Wraparound work?” But research has also focused on “for whom,” and “under what conditions” does Wraparound work, as well as a host of other questions. This brief summary focuses on a few of the most common questions asked of the Wraparound evidence base.

Moral Injury and Our Youth and Family Workforce

Moral injury is a kind of trauma that can occur when people are compelled to act in ways that run against their principles. In our current healthcare system, workers are increasingly forced to put the priorities of insurers, managed care, electronic health records, etc. before the needs of the people they are serving. While we may recognize this as “burnout,” suggesting an individual’s lack of resilience, “moral injury” locates the source of the problem in systems. This new blog explores moral injury, its impact on our workforce, and possible ways forward.

This webinar will present Wraparound fidelity results from dozens of states, hundreds of providers, and thousands of families, and provide an initial answer to the question “what are the national means?” We will also discuss possible system and program level actions to address needs for improvement in quality and fidelity.
