New Webinar Recording: Tiered Care Coordination
Wraparound is intended to serve young people and their families with the highest levels of need. However, young people with less complex needs can benefit from care coordination at a lower level of intensity than Wraparound. This webinar discusses tiered care coordination, which provides youth and families with care coordination that reflects the Wraparound philosophy while aligning with their specific level of need.

Moral Injury and Our Youth and Family Workforce
Moral injury is a kind of trauma that can occur when people are compelled to act in ways that run against their principles. In our current healthcare system, workers are increasingly forced to put the priorities of insurers, managed care, electronic health records, etc. before the needs of the people they are serving. While we may recognize this as “burnout,” suggesting an individual’s lack of resilience, “moral injury” locates the source of the problem in systems. This new blog explores moral injury, its impact on our workforce, and possible ways forward.

January 13th Webinar: A Deep Dive into Fidelity
Date/Time: January 13, 2025, 11am PT / 2pm ET
“Fidelity” to the Wraparound model is of key importance at practice, organization, and system levels. But what areas of fidelity are easiest and hardest to achieve? This webinar will present Wraparound fidelity results from dozens of states, hundreds of providers, and thousands of families, and provide an initial answer to the question “what are the national means?” We will also discuss possible system and program level actions to address needs for improvement in quality and fidelity.

New Summary of Research on Wraparound
The Wraparound research base has grown substantially over the past two decades. Not surprisingly, the main question asked of research has been “Does Wraparound work?” But research has also focused on “for whom,” and “under what conditions” does Wraparound work, as well as a host of other questions. This brief summary focuses on a few of the most common questions asked of the Wraparound evidence base.

Webinar: Examining the Long-Term Impacts of Cash Transfer Programs on Low-Income Households
Date/Time: December 11, 2024, 11am PT / 2pm ET
A growing number of local governments and nonprofit organizations across the United States are experimenting with guaranteed income programs, often with the goal of supporting low-income families and individuals. The results of many of these newer efforts are still being measured and assessed, but there are earlier programs that can provide insights into long-term effects. In this webinar, our presenters will share research on cash transfer programs begun or conducted in previous decades, including Native American tribal casino dividends, the Mincome project, and the Alaska Dividend.

Navigating Psychiatric Medication: Support for Youth and Youth Supports

This office hour series supports young people with lived experience as they work within mental health systems. December’s office hour will be a conversation on navigating psychotropic medications with youth. This session will cover key topics like informed consent, self-advocacy, and the important questions to ask when exploring psychotropic medications.
