Janet Walker, Co-Director of the NWI and a Research Professor in the School of Social Work and the Regional Research Institute at Portland State University, has written a blog post about her recent research on adaptions to Wraparound for older youth and young adults.

Webinar: Designing and Implementing Early Childhood Systems of Care (SOC)

The Early Childhood SOC Learning Community session will focus on specific considerations for designing, implementing, and sustaining early childhood SOCs that serve young children with behavioral health concerns and their families. These monthly sessions offer additional opportunities for peer interaction and resource sharing.

Webinar: How to Prevent Staff Burnout and Turnover

Date / Time: Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 1:30pm – 2:30pm PT / 4:30pm –5:30pm ET

This webinar will discuss how to identify risk factors for staff burnout, signs of burnout, and ways to prevent and manage challenges staff can experience when helping others. This webinar is part of the Tribal SOC Learning Community.

Webinar: Engaging African-American Youth and Youth of Color in Addressing Depression and Other Mental Health Needs

Date / Time: Thursday, February 21, 2019, 10:30am – 12pm PT / 1:30pm – 3pm ET

Alfiee Breland-Noble, PhD, MHSc, project director for AAKOMA (African American Knowledge Optimized for Mindfully Healthy Adolescents) will present this webinar, which is part of the Cultural and Linguistic Competence Learning Community.

Registration for the National Wraparound Implementation Academy Opens Soon!

Date / Location: September 9 – 11, 2019, Baltimore, MD

Early bird registration for the National Wraparound Implementation Center's 4th National Wraparound Implementation Academy (NWIA) will open in February 2019. The NWIA is a biennial event that provides the opportunity to learn from the field's foremost experts in Wraparound and systems of care and connect with peers from across the country. The hotel block at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is now open so attendees can reserve their rooms early. Organizations interested in exhibiting should visit the site and submit an exhibitor form for consideration.  Registration is expected to open in February 2019.

Early Bird Registration Open for 32nd Annual Research & Policy Conference: Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Behavioral Health

Date / Location: March 3 – 6, 2019, Tampa, FL

Known widely as "The Tampa Conference," this annual gathering of more than 500 researchers, evaluators, policymakers, administrators, parents, and advocates is sponsored by Child & Family Studies at the University of South Florida and partners, including the National Wraparound Foundation. The deadline for early bird registration is February 15, 2019.
