Contest: Help Name the NWIC Turtle!

Entry Deadline: July 31, 2019 at 9am PT / 12pm ET

Have you ever wondered why the NWIC mascot is a turtle? In order for a turtle to move forward, it has to stick its neck out. Wraparound challenges systems to support families in unique and strength-based ways, which means staff have to do things differently, and stick their necks out for change to work toward a better future for children, youth and their families.

The top names, selected by National Wraparound Implementation Academy (NWIA) staff, will be announced at the NWIA on September 9. All NWIA attendees will have the opportunity to vote to select the winning name. The final winning turtle mascot name, and the person who submitted it, will be announced at the NWIA on September 10.
