Join NWIC staff and key presenters to learn more about what to expect from the 2nd Annual National Wraparound Implementation Academy – before early bird registration ends on June 30th! Please bring your questions for our panel of presenters!

Grantees of the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and their Families Program are allowed to use grant funds to participate in the National Wraparound Implementation Academy as this Academy will meet the requirement in the grant.

2nd Annual National Wraparound Academy

Dates / Location: September 19 – 21, 2016, Rockville, MD

NWIC, in partnership with the NWI, is providing a three-day Academy focused on implementation of high quality, research-based Wraparound care coordination. The Academy will provide individuals in key Wraparound roles – including care coordinators, parent and youth partners, supervisors and managers, policy-makers, family and youth leaders, researchers and evaluators – with opportunities to learn from the field's foremost experts in Wraparound and systems of care.

Webinar: Supporting LGBTQ Children and Youth

Date / Time: June 16, 2016, 12pm – 1:30pm PDT / 3pm – 4:30pm EDT

This webinar will explore ways to provide LGBTQ children and youth with supportive messages related to sexual development, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

System of Care Learning Community: Leadership and Change Management Skills

Dates / Time: June 22, 2016, 11:30pm – 1pm PDT; 2:30pm – 4pm EDT

This session will assist participants to explore their roles in supporting system of care development. Ellen B. Kagen, M.S.W. will present this session and help distinguish roles between management and leadership, advocacy and leadership, and authority and leadership.
