2nd Annual National Wraparound Academy

Date / Location: September 19 – 21, 2016, Rockville, MD

NWIC, in partnership with the NWI, is providing a three-day Academy focused on implementation of high quality, research-based Wraparound care coordination. The Academy will provide individuals in key Wraparound roles – including care coordinators, parent and youth partners, supervisors and managers, policy-makers, family and youth leaders, researchers and evaluators – with opportunities to learn from the field's foremost experts in Wraparound and systems of care.

Field Test NWI's New Booster Training!

The NWI is ready to release an updated version of our new Wraparound skills booster training. This release incorporates feedback from NWI members and we want to know what you think! Field testers should have some experience in Wraparound facilitation, be over 18 years of age and be able to commit at least an hour of time to taking the training. Gift cards are available as a thank you.

Upcoming NWI Webinar: Practice, Organization, and Quality Standards for Wraparound

Date / Time: September 7, 2016, 11am – 12pm PDT / 2pm – 3pm EDT

In this webinar, the UW Wraparound Evaluation and Research Team (WERT) will present a new resource of the NWI – a comprehensive summary of Practice, Organization, and System Standards for Wraparound. The webinar will explain the development of these standards – still in draft form for review and pilot testing – and describe how to use the tool for Wraparound planning and self-assessment.

Toni Donnelly

Toni Donnelly

Meet Toni Donnelly, Director of Training and Innovation at the Family Involvement Center. With over 17 years of experience in the children’s behavioral healthcare field, along with lived experience as a parent of three children with complex needs, Toni is a featured trainer in the 2016 National Wraparound Academy. She will be participating in the Building Skills in Parent Peer-to-Peer Support track alongside other national experts in the field.
