Job: National Wraparound Lead Training Specialist
The Institute for Innovation and Implementation (The Institute) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work is hiring for two National Wraparound Lead Training Specialist positions. These specialists will provide training and technical assistance in multiple implementation settings nationally in Wraparound and provide guidance and content expertise specific to implementing this evidence informed practice model.

The conference invites presentations (poster format, paper, roundtable, and workshop) that explore challenges faced by our children, as well as policies, programs, and practices that protect them and build opportunities for their increased well-being. These presentations may be original research, theoretical framework(s), clinical interventions, pedagogy, and/or policy/advocacy. The conditions that compromise children's resilience and jeopardize their well-being are complex and multifaceted; they require equally complex and interdisciplinary responses.

Webinar: Introduction to the CMHI National Evaluation Early Childhood Tools

Part of the Early Childhood SOC LC, this webinar will describe the new tools being rolled out for children ages 0-5, why the National Evaluation is collecting early childhood data, and how the tools can be used by SOCs serving early childhood populations. It will also explore which states and communities are already using some of these tools, and what other early childhood tools they are using.

Funding Opportunity: SAMHSA Grants in Support of Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma

The purpose of this program is to assist high-risk youth and families in communities that have recently faced civil unrest and promote resilience and equity through the implementation of evidence-based violence prevention and community youth engagement programs and promote access to trauma-informed behavioral health services.

National Wraparound Implementation Academy: Early Bird Registration

The 2017 National Wraparound Implementation Academy will provide participants with opportunities to build knowledge and skills to support their work in Wraparound. This year's Academy will feature intermediate and advanced tracks that build upon last year's content, as well as tracks designed for those just beginning in Wraparound.
