This month's topic will be innovative approaches to integrating home visiting into early childhood SOC. Linda Delimata from Illinois will provide an overview of the model of home visiting in her state. This will be followed by open discussion and an opportunity to share ideas on home visiting and early childhood systems of care.

Funding Available for Indigenous Project LAUNCH
SAMHSA will be holding a series of webinars and calls for prospective applicants for the Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health (LAUNCH) in American Indian, Native (AI/AN) Communities and Pacific Jurisdictions. The purpose of this program is to promote the wellness of young children from birth to eight years within tribes, territories, and Pacific Island jurisdictions by addressing the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and behavioral aspects of their development.

Register Early for Family Week 2017!

Family Week is a week-long event where LGBTQ parented families grow together in Provincetown, MA. Daily programming will be offered for youth ages 7-18 in collaboration with the Family Equality Council, which hosts family and parent programs throughout the week. Family Week takes place July 29 – August 5, 2017.

Call for Papers for a Special Issue of Child Welfare

The Child Welfare League of America is announcing a call for papers for a special issue of Child Welfare (journal). This issue is dedicated to children and youth with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities/expression (SOGIE), such as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and those questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity (LGBTQ), who have experience with multiple youth-serving systems. Prospective authors should submit abstracts of up to 750 words to Child Welfare's managing editor, Rachel Adams, at radams@cwla.org.
