Upcoming NWI Webinar: Making the Most of Your Wraparound Fidelity Data (How to Interpret WFI-EZ Results and Put Them to Use)

Date / Time: Wednesday, June 14, 2017, 11am – 12pm PT / 2pm – 3pm ET

The Wraparound Fidelity Index, Short form (WFI-EZ) is a brief survey of fidelity to the Wraparound care coordination model. In this webinar, WERT will provide guidance about both the interpretation and use of WFI-EZ results. Participants can expect to leave with practical steps to understanding and disseminating their WFI-EZ results and sample language for reporting purposes.

NWI Presentation at Tampa Now Available Online

Researchers from the National Wraparound Initiative and the Wraparound Evaluation and Research Team (WERT) presented "Examining Turnover and Retention in Wraparound, Phase 1: Survey on Turnover among Wraparound Care Coordinators and Supervisors" at the 30th Annual Research and Policy Conference on Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Behavioral Health in Tampa last month.

Humboldt County Implements Wraparound

A local newspaper recently highlighted the Humboldt County Wraparound Unit for its work with local at-risk youth. In April 2016 Children and Family Services staff there began training as Wraparound coordinators and coaches, and since then several staff attended the National Wraparound Implementation Academy and received additional training provided by National Wraparound Implementation Center last fall.

Job: National Wraparound Lead Training Specialist

Application Deadline: April 21, 2017

The Institute for Innovation and Implementation (The Institute) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work has an opportunity for two (2) National Wraparound Lead Training Specialist positions. These positions are responsible for all functions related to training and technical assistance in multiple implementation settings nationally in Wraparound and provide guidance and content expertise specific to implementing this evidence informed practice model.

Core Provider Training: Family Acceptance Project

Date / Location: April 25 – 26, 2017, Detroit, MI

Dr. Caitlin Ryan, along with the Family Run Executive Director Leadership Association (FREDLA), will lead this training. It focuses on a family-based approach to wellness, prevention and care for LGBTQ children, youth, and young adults, based on the Family Acceptance Project's family intervention and support model.

National Wraparound Implementation Academy: Early Bird Registration

Date / Location: September 11 – 13, 2017, Baltimore, MD

The 2017 National Wraparound Implementation Academy will provide participants with opportunities to build knowledge and skills to support their work in Wraparound. This year's Academy will feature intermediate and advanced tracks that build upon last year's content, as well as tracks designed for those just beginning in Wraparound.
