Youth Engagement Webinar Recording Now Available

NWI’s March 29th webinar, "Research-Based Strategies for Increasing Youth and Young Adult Engagement In Wraparound," was hosted by Janet Walker and addressed the question of how to increase young people's active participation in Wraparound. The webinar recording, slides, and a list of live links to additional resources is now available – alongside all past NWI webinars.

New TA Resource: Care Management Entities

In response to the technical assistance questions we are most frequently asked, the NWI has produced a series of TA resources that summarize current research and implementation best practices in Wraparound. The second in this series covers the topic of care management entities and features a collection of links to pertinent documents, webinars and other sources. Other installments in the series will be highlighted in upcoming newsletters.

NWI Needs Your Help to Develop Online Training!

We've been collecting and analyzing videos of Wraparound practice and we need more videos. Specifically, we are looking for videos of one-to-one interactions between a Wraparound facilitator and a young person, family member or other team member. Participants are eligible for incentives. Northwest Council on Family Relations

Dates: April 21 – 22, 2016

Northwest Council on Family Relations 2016 annual conference will be held in Portland, OR at Portland State University. The conference theme this year is Engaging Youth in Schools and Communities: Enhancing Protective Factors. The two-day event will feature presentations, professional roundtables, breakout sessions and a keynote address by Tony Biglan, Senior Scientist with the Oregon Research Institute.

Learning Community on LGBTQI2-S Youth
