Webinar Recording Available: How to Be More Outcomes-Based in Your Wraparound Practice

On December 6th, nearly 200 people attended the latest NWI webinar co-presented by Dr. Jennifer Schurer Coldiron (UW Wraparound Evaluation and Research Team) and Kim Coviello (National Wraparound Implementation Center). This webinar explained the power of progress monitoring, and provided concrete, family-friendly approaches as well as tools for getting and using data to help stay on track. If you missed it, be sure to check out the NWI webinar archive.

New Tiered Care Coordination Document!

In light of the need to understand best practices for a tiered care coordination model for children, youth and young adults with behavioral health challenges, The National Technical Assistance Network for Children’s Behavioral Health convened a meeting of experts from various sectors to discuss emerging areas of tiered care coordination. The results and findings from the meeting were recently released as a meeting summary and can be accessed from the NWI library.

Caitlin Baird

Caitlin Baird

In July 2014, Caitlin began her work with Youth MOVE Oregon as a Wraparound youth partner. She eventually became a consultant and trainer for Oregon’s System of Care and Wraparound Initiative. Caitlin is an advocate for youth participation in all levels of decision-making – from directing their own treatment to leading organizations.

Understanding Trauma and Promoting Resilience

Date / Time: Thursday, January 19, 2017, 12 – 1:30pm PST / 3 – 4:30pm EST

The topic of this LC for Family Leaders is how resilience can be developed and nurtured, and what parents can do to build resilient children. A facilitated discussion will follow a short presentation, and resources on resilience will be provided.
